Oh, by the way Danyel received all high marks on her third qtr. report card and she is doing outstanding. We had a meeting with her teacher and they couldn't say anything bad. She is reading so much that everyone is trying to keep up with her. I feel like we are running out of things to read. But I rather have her reading than out getting involved in the wrong things...

When I grow up I want to a...... Giraffe.......NO, A ELEPHANT
Well, here are my "Three Musketeer's"
Danyel, Christopher, and Alyssa all say "HI" to everyone.
The past few weeks have been crazy for us at the Godwin house, but what else is new. About two weeks ago the kids had a visit from Grampie and last week they got a visit from Grammie. The best thing is that they had a blast. We took them to the zoo and Christopher has decided that he would like to be a Giraffe when he gets older because people will feed you as many crackers that they want to give you and Alyssa would like to be an Elephant because they can play with the trees all day long. I don't know.... Maybe I will have to adopt some kids to take care of me when I get old. Because if they want to be animals, I will be walking down the poor street.. hahaha
Danyel has been doing great in school. She gave me her report card on Tuesday with the look in her face of fear. She was so nerves that she thought she was going to get in trouble. But she did GREAT. She passed everything with right on grade level and she exceeded grade level in Social Studies. Plus she got a bonus... A certificate for perfect attendance. I was also informed that Danyel is going to be in her first play in the middle of May.. The title is "Alice in Wonderland" and she told us that she is going to be a rose.. We can't wait to see it.
And as for my Tastefully Simple business, when people say things just happen when you don't expect it, I now know what they mean...... I finally settled on taking a demotion back to a senior consultant because I couldn't get one of my consultants to talk to me. I was just trying to help, if I could but she wouldn't return and calls or emails... So I decided what was going to happen would happen and that was that. But to my surprise she took a TBI so I didn't loose my position and then I had a new consultant that signed three days later... The funny thing is I never met or talked to her prior. And when I did talk to her, she never tasted or had been to a party. I never would believe that someone would sign on without trying it first....
But my plans for the rest of the week is to train my new consultant tomorrow and on Friday we will be going to the Zoo again.
Hope everyone else is doing well.

The Godwin's Big Move.....
We decided to set up this blog so everyone can keep up with the exciting things happening within the Godwin household. So I hope we don't bore you as we backtrack and highlight on what has happened in the past few months...
The trip down went very fast. I started out planning three days to travel and we made it in two....We arrived in Florida the day before Christmas and the kiddos have been keeping us very busy. First, we had Santa coming so we had to get those cookies ready for him and hope that he remembered that we moved.. Danyel was really nerves that he might forget since he had so much on his mind. But never fail, Santa found us alright and we had a fabulous time with our family together.
Christopher turned five on January 3, 2008. He had a small get together the weekend after the new year with the few cousins down here. Since we couldn't have the whole family with us, Cousin Charlene suggested that we get a table cloth and embroider "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" on it. And at each birthday we will paint the kids hands and place them on the table cloth with their name, date, and age so when others come visit us we can take the table cloth out and everyone can see how they grew threw the size of their hand prints.
Danyel started school at the Double Branch Elementary School on January 8, 2008. That's right, she had not one but two weeks off from school.... LUCKY ME! So we tried our best to settle in and explore a little while Jeff was at work. But let me tell you, she was happy to go to school to play with kids her own age. She got Mrs. Edwards for a teacher and she is doing so well.... She is working on her first major project that we will be able to share with everyone soon...
Then we had another two birthdays in March. Which we surprised Danyel when Grampie Godwin came down to celebrate with her. So Jeff turned another year older on March 16th and Danyel turned eight on March 22, 2008 and what was next???? THE EASTER BUNNY.... We had to make sure the Easter Bunny had the new magical key to the new house so he could get in and leave the little kiddo's some treats.
As we are out on our bikes or at the play ground, the kids seem to have adjusted to the warmer weather. Christopher has decided that we should play soccer and I have to tell you that they will be sleeping well. They run up and down the full size soccer field and they don't seem to mind...
I will try to post some pic. later.
So for now we have to say by and we miss you all up north. With lots of love Jeff, Becky, Danyel, Christopher, and Alyssa
